Massport Reports
In October, 2025 Massport released the 2023–2024 Environmental Data Report (EDR) for Boston Logan International Airport, which provides a comprehensive look at airport operations, environmental programs, and regional transportation trends. The EDR is part of Massport’s ongoing filings under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) and is prepared between the larger five-year Environmental Status and Planning Reports.
While focused on Logan, the document includes a wealth of information relevant to the broader regional aviation system, including Hanscom Field, and the relationship among Logan, Worcester, and other New England airports. It offers detailed regional transportation statistics, as well as historical and current data on passenger activity, aircraft operations, and general aviation trends that may be of interest to Concord residents who follow Hanscom developments.
Highlights include:
- Regional trends in air passenger and general aviation activity across New England airports.
- Data on Hanscom Field operations and its role within the regional system.
- Historical passenger and aircraft activity levels and forecasts used by Massport for planning purposes.
- Updates on Massport’s climate, sustainability, and noise-mitigation programs, which apply across its airport system.
