Businesses can save money and energy by implementing measures identified through a building energy assessment. Three main options are based on whether your building is heated with natural gas and if you'd like a full facility audit or a lighting-only audit.

CMLP-Sponsored Building Energy Assessments
Step 1:
Check your CMLP bill to see the type of commercial customer you are, which is based on the maximum electric demand at that service address:
Small commercial customers (G1) demand up to 20 kW every month
Medium commercial customers (G2) demand from 20 to 200 kW per month
Large commercial customers (G3) demand more than 200 kW at least one month of the year
Step 2
Small Commercial Customers:
CMLP pays 100% of the energy assessment costs for small (G1) businesses.
