[ARCHIVED] Expanded Hours at the Concord Free Public Library

Expanded Hours at the Concord Free Public Library

The Concord Free Public Library’s Main Library is now open on Thursday evenings until 8pm for browsing and retrieving holds.   Book drops will remain open overnight for returns as a convenience for patrons.  Please note that returned materials will remain in quarantine for 72 hours which may result in a delay before those items are removed from a patron’s record.  Fine amnesty will continue for the remainder of the calendar year.

In accordance with the Commonwealth’s Stage III Reopening Plan, the Library resumed modified services on September 21.  Residents are encouraged to make an appointment to visit either library location in advance, but walk-ins are also welcome.  The Main Library’s hours are Monday – Wednesday 10:00 – 6:00 p.m., Thursday 10:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 – 6:00 p.m.  The Fowler Branch‘s hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 – 6:00 p.m.  The Fowler Branch closes daily from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. for cleaning.  The first hour of the day at both locations is reserved for senior citizens and other at-risk individuals.  Curbside pickup continues to be an option at the Main Library and curbside delivery to a vehicle is available by request at the Fowler Branch Library.  The Town of Concord may need to revise the hours of operation on short notice due to changing circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  For the most current information related to the Library’s hours and services visit www.concordlibrary.org
