Conservation Land Guidelines

While we are all physically distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus, we will have more time for each other and the outdoors. Getting outside can help boost you and your family’s resilience, too. Remember also that wildlife always need distancing from humans in order to carry out their normal life functions.

Our town conservation areas are currently open to provide much needed solace. We need you to help make sure that all visitors can experience a sense of calm and stress relief. And since the health, safety, and well-being of our visitors is our top priority, we have placed the following restrictions on the use of town conservation lands, based upon Governor Baker’s Emergency Order and the Department of Health’s and CDC’s guidance.

Parks and Playgrounds

As a reminder, In the ongoing efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Concord’s playgrounds and play structures will be closed until further notice. Athletic fields are closed to group gatherings and sporting activities/events. Town parks will remain open and residents are encouraged to continue using public, open spaces with their facilities while practicing the CDC guidelines for social distancing and hygiene. Tennis courts remain open to the public for use, playscapes within the parks and playgrounds remain closed.

Playgrounds Closed in Town Include:

  • Rideout Playscape & Swings, Lawsbrook Rd.
  • Rideout Ninja Fitness Equip., Lawsbrook Rd.
