[ARCHIVED] Traffic/Construction Advisory - Hazardous & Dead Tree Removal Operations - Oct. 25 and Oct. 28

Please be advised that hazardous tree removal operations will commence on Friday, October 25 beginning at 9 A.M. and continuing through 4 P.M., and if necessary re-commencing on Monday, October 28 at 9 A.M. This work is being performed to remove hazardous and dead trees which pose a risk to pedestrians, motorists and structures at the following locations:

  • Intersection of Cottage Street and Old Marlboro Road
  • Town Right of Way,  adjacent to the Walden Pond Visitor Center on Walden Street
  • In the vicinity of 1630 Monument Street
  • Near the intersection of Main Street and Water Street

Police Details will be in place and traffic will be limited to a single lane with an alternating traffic pattern while the work is taking place.  Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists are encouraged to seek alternate routes as delays can be expected.  If you have any questions please contact Concord Public Works Highway and Grounds Division at 978-318-3220.
