[ARCHIVED] Public Meeting on Gerow Property

Join the Town of Concord for a public meeting regarding the "Gerow Property" at 369 Commonwealth Avenue on October 17th. The property was acquired for use as a recreational property with a favorable vote at the 2018 Annual Town Meeting. Planned use for the parcel, which sits on Warner’s Pond, includes affordable housing, hiking, boating, picnicking, and other similar activities. The close proximity to the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail makes the parcel incredibly valuable from a recreational perspective and will allow better community access to the outdoors throughout Concord as it connects to other public lands and activities.

After closing on the 7.03 acre property in July, the Town has begun to look at how to best utilize all that the land has to offer by employing the services of a land use and design consultant, Greeman-Pedersen, Inc..

The second public forum to gather public input will be held at the Town House's Hearing Room at 22 Monument Square on October 16th at 7:00 PM.
