October Farm Riverfront Parking Area – Construction – Lot Will Be Temporarily Closed

Parking improvements at the October Farm Riverfront Parking Area, at the end of Ball’s Hill Road, will be undertaken in August and the lot will be closed to all vehicles on weekdays for a two-week period between August 9 and August 24. We encourage visitors to visit other conservation lands during this time-frame and appreciate your patience as we develop the parking area.

The existing parking area will be reconstructed to provide a more formal gravel parking area, with a paved handicapped accessible space. We are excited to provide this amenity to the public, and appreciate your help to make the lot available as quickly as possible!
