[ARCHIVED] MassPort Intern Program Application

The Town of Concord’s Planning Division has submitted a grant application to the 2018 Massport Community Summer Jobs Program in the hope of funding one Intern position that will work with the Community Services Department, the Recreation Department and the Department of Planning & Land Management. This position provides an opportunity for an intern to work with Town staff to research and develop informational and promotional materials; work on public outreach initiatives; expand the availability of resources and materials; and interact with visitors to the Town. The intern position offers a wide variety of office-related tasks that will provide an intern with a diverse professional work experience. 

Applications are being accepted for the Intern position until noon on Friday, June 15, 2018. The successful candidate must be a resident of a ‘Massport’ Community (Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Bedford, Charlestown, Chelsea, East Boston, South Boston, Revere or Winthrop) and a student currently enrolled in high school, college or university. This temporary position is available from Monday, July 2nd through Friday, August 24, 2018 (seven weeks), subject to funding availability.
