[ARCHIVED] Winter Storm Debris Cleanup Update - May 3, 2018

Winter Storm Debris Cleanup Update – Concord Public Works (CPW) crews are nearing the completion of the town-wide removal of storm debris originating from public shade trees (town trees) during the March 7-8 storm event. Crews continue these efforts on a daily basis Monday–Saturday each week and expect to have all of the downed debris removed by the end of the day on May 11, 2018. Only tree debris originating from public shade trees located in the public right of way (ROW) is being collected through this program. Debris from public shade trees that fell onto private property will be removed; however, debris from private trees placed in the ROW for collection will not be eligible for pickup as public works resources are not in place to handle private tree debris removal. The Compost Site at 755 Walden Street is now open for the season and can be accessed on Saturdays 9AM to 3PM, and Wednesdays 3PM to 6PM. Residential brush is accepted with the usual brush disposal fees waived until further notice.
