Town Manager Kerry Lafleur is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Weiner as the new Chief Information Officer for the Town of Concord, effective Monday, September 29, 2025.
"Jeff’s extensive experience and strategic approach to technology are exactly what the Town needs," said Town Manager Kerry Lafleur. "His proven ability to align technology initiatives with broader organizational goals and his clear vision for the future of our technology program will be an asset. We are confident that Jeff will lead the department with success."
Weiner joins the Town of Concord after more than a decade with the Wakefield Public Schools, where he served as the Technology Director/District Library Services Administrator. During his tenure, he developed a multi-year strategic IT roadmap and successfully implemented a cybersecurity training program that reduced phishing incidents by 60%. Weiner is also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.
As Chief Information Officer, Weiner will oversee the Town’s Technology Department, which includes the GIS Division and the Minuteman Media Network. The Town’s Broadband Division will continue to operate under the CMLP and be overseen by its Director, Jason Bulger. Bulger has served as the interim CIO since May 2025.
The Town of Concord is excited to welcome Jeffrey Weiner and looks forward to his contributions to the organization.
