Annual Town Meeting - Night 2
June 3, 2025, CCHS, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Town Meeting begins tonight with Art. 34 - Stormwater Fund Expenditures at 6:45 PM. Following Art. 34, Town Meeting picks up where it left off with Arts. 12, 10,11, in that order, as voted by Town Meeting. No new business will be taken up after 9:30 PM. Child care is available on-site. Register ahead here or in person at Town Meeting.
Last night, Town Meeting voted to approve the use of Electronic Clickers. Let the Town Meeting Study Committee know what you think by taking the post-Town Meeting survey.
Here are four things the Moderator wants you to know:
- Bring your Town Meeting Briefing Book: the hard copy you received in the mail or a downloaded copy from the Town website (www.concordma.gov) on your smart device.
- The Meeting begins and ends earlier this year: 6:30 pm start (sharp) with no new business after 9:30 pm
- Two specially Scheduled High Interest Articles:
- Article 34 (Stormwater Fund Expenditures) Tuesday, June 3rd at 6:45 pm
- Article 46 (CITIZEN PETITION: Zoning Bylaw Amendment: Continuing Care Retirement Community Overlay District) Wednesday, June 4th at 6:45 pm
- Electronic Voting : We’ll be joining 70 or so other Massachusetts town meetings in using “clickers” to take votes.
