[ARCHIVED] Seasonal Water Use Restrictions & Water Rates May 1, 2017

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Seasonal Water Use Restrictions and Water Rates in Effect May 1, 2017

Please be advised that Concord’s Seasonal Water Conservation “Advisory” begins on Monday, May 1st.  For customers who use municipal water for lawn care, we would like to remind you that 1-inch of water per week should be sufficient to maintain a healthy lawn.  For those customers with in-ground irrigation systems, we advise that you program your controllers to achieve this optimal application rate.  Please note Concord’s Seasonal Demand Management Plan was recently updated to allow for more transparent messaging as to what outdoor water use practices are acceptable and when.  For details please visit www.concordma.gov/conservation

Also, this is a friendly reminder that each year from May 1st – October 31st our Seasonal Water Conservation Rate Structure is in effect, click here for more information.

Concord Public Works monitors customer demand, available water supply and State drought recommendations around the clock and will provide updates and additional information as needed.  If you have questions or require additional information, please visit www.concordma.gov/water or call the Concord Public Works’ Water and Sewer Division at 978-318-3250.
