[ARCHIVED] Please Limit Outdoor Water Use

As the region endures the heat wave over the next week, we would like to remind you that the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary, Bethany Card has declared much of the State in a “Mild” to “Significant” drought.

Please limit outdoor watering to no more than one day a week, or by using only hand-held hoses/watering cans, before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM only.

To find your watering day, please visit: http://www.concordma.gov/wateringday.

The Town strongly urges residents and businesses to continue to be extremely mindful of their overall water use.

Water conservation measures will aid in the reduction of water use and safeguard water for essential needs, such as drinking water, fire protection services, habitat recovery and environmental needs, and sustained water supplies.  For more information, please visit:  www.concordma.gov/conservation .
