[ARCHIVED] Appointment of Kerry Lafleur as Town Manager

The Town of Concord is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry Lafleur to the position of Town Manager. On Thursday, June 30, Ms. Lafleur took the Oath of Office as Concord’s new Town Manager beginning July 1, 2022. She has served the Town of Concord since 2016 as the Town’s Finance Director and CFO and has served as Interim Town Manager since January 2022. 

“I am excited and honored to serve as Concord’s Town Manager,” Kerry Lafleur said, “this is an incredible opportunity and I look forward to continuing to work in collaboration with the Select Board, staff and the community to advance community initiatives.”

With over thirty-one years of municipal experience, including as Town Manager for the Town of Lunenburg, Massachusetts for nearly nine years and having held the position of Finance Director in several municipalities, Ms. Lafleur is well versed in town management, finance administration, and local government. 

“Kerry Lafleur has unmatched experience and commitment to Concord. As our Chief Financial Officer and Interim Town Manager, she's earned the trust of Town employees, the Select Board, and residents," said Matt Johnson, Select Board Chair, "We look forward to her continued leadership as our next Town Manager”
