[ARCHIVED] Library and Umbrella April 2nd Concurrent Events

On April 2nd, the Concord Free Public Library will be hosting the American Brass Quintet in concert and is expecting around 140 attendees beginning at 7 PM. The same night, The Umbrella Arts Center is hosting a gala event and over 200 people are expected to attend beginning at 6 PM.

The Library is working with The Umbrella to ensure that things go smoothly and we have secured separate parking to serve both venues. For patrons attending the Library’s concert, parking is being directed along Main Street in open spaces, the Keyes Road parking lots, and at Concord Academy. For attendees of The Umbrella’s gala, parking is being directed along Stow Street and Everett Street along Emerson Park and the Alcott School parking lot. Accessible parking will be available in the shared municipal parking lot and in designated parking along the Library on Main Street.

We apologize for any inconvenience these two events running concurrently may cause, please direct any comments to concordma.gov/libraryeventcomments which will be reviewed by Library staff. For any immediate concerns including blocking of driveways or non-emergency safety concerns to the Police general line at 978-318-3400.
