The Concord Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is now accepting applications for the winter round of the Small Grants Program.   The Small Grants Program has already provided over $80,000 in small grants to Concord residents who need to complete work including plumbing, carpentry, heating upgrades, window and door replacement, bathroom adaptations, roofing, masonry, siding and other necessary home repairs.  The Program’s maximum grant award is $5,000 per household in each grant cycle, and grants are awarded twice a year in March and August.   Additional information on the program, including funding applications and program requirements, is available on the Town’s website at www.concordma.gov/grantprograms as well as in the Planning Division Offices at 141 Keyes Road and at the Senior Center.  In addition to the application form,  applicants must provide three estimates of the work to be completed and copies of recent tax returns (for income verification).  Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, January 31, 2017 for the current funding round.
