Ecology Along Concord Trails is now available! The Natural Resources Division is pleased to announce a new trail book highlighting fourteen popular conservation lands and natural areas. The book provides an overview of Concord’s Town-wide ecology and history, with a deeper dive into each natural area, including detailed maps and features. The book was developed by leading ecologist Richard Forman, Trails Committee Chair Bob White, and Natural Resources Director Delia Kaye, with graphics and design by illustrator Taco Matthews.
The book is currently available at the Concord Visitors Center at 58 Main Street (call ahead to be sure that someone is in the office – 978-318-3061) for $15, and will also be available at the Department of Planning and Land Management and Town House once these offices are reopened to the public.
