[ARCHIVED] Town of Concord's Stormwater Management Plan is available for review and comment

The Town of Concord has been proactive in meeting and exceeding the requirements of the EPA’s Small MS4 General Permit for stormwater management since 2003. With the release of the new 2016 MS4 General Permit, Concord Public Works and the Concord Stormwater team has made the Town’s updated Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) (drafted in June 2019) available for review and comment.  The SWMP is available for review on the Town’s website by clicking here, and available in a hard copy format for review at the following locations: Concord Public Works Administrative Offices located at 133 Keyes Road, the Town Clerks office located at 22 Monument Square and both the Fowler Branch Library located  at 1322 Main Street and the Main Branch Library located at 129 Main Street.

This SWMP describes the Town’s 5-year plan for complying with the MS4 Permit conditions, including 1) conducting public education and outreach efforts 2) providing public participation and involvement opportunities 3) undertaking performance of Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) programs  4) administering construction and post construction stormwater management controls and 5) continued implementation of Good Housekeeping and Pollution Prevention within Town of Concord public works operations.  For more information, please visit the Town of Concord’s stormwater management webpage by clicking here.
