Traffic/Construction Advisory – Commonwealth Ave. at Church St. – Beginning 7/10

Please be advised that Concord Public Work’s contractor for the West Concord Streetscape Improvements Project, Richard D’Ambrosia, Inc., will begin construction on Monday, 7/10/2017.  The first stage of the project will involve the deployment of traffic signage, followed by the installation of new drainage and water infrastructure. Construction work will continue onto the removing and resetting of granite curbing, new sidewalks, and a re-designed intersection at Commonwealth Avenue and Church Street.

The expected duration of this project is two months, weather permitting.  There will be small, localized construction in spots along the intersection, but will remain confined to the parking lane.  Please proceed with caution. Expect localized delays near the construction area and seek alternate routes, if possible.
