The Compost Site located at 755 Walden Street will be closing for the season on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at 3:00PM and will reopen for normal operations in April 2026.
The Compost Site will be CLOSED on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025.
The Compost Site will accept Christmas Trees, Holiday Lights, and Styrofoam for recycling during the following dates and times:
Friday, 12/26/25 from 9am-12pm
Saturday, 12/27/25 from 9am-3pm
Wednesday, 12/31/25 from 3pm-6pm
Saturday, 1/3/26 from 9am-3pm
Wednesday, 1/7/26 from 3pm-6pm
Saturday, 1/10/26 from 9am-3pm
No registration is required; however, bag(s) for Styrofoam recycling must be purchased online or at 133 Keyes Road by check for $10 each. To purchase Styrofoam bag(s) online please visit www.concordma.gov and click on “Online Payments” or call 978-318-3240 for more information.
Please note: Styrofoam must be white, clean, dry, and free of all tape and labels. CPW cannot accept packing peanuts, disposable plates/cups, meat trays, egg cartons or carryout containers.
