Deadline For Permitted Right-of-Way Work Extended to 11/21/25
Please note that the Town is extending the deadline to complete all permitted work within the Town’s public right-of-way to November 21, 2025. Therefore, the Winter Moratorium, prohibiting work within the public right-of-way--except for emergency situations--will begin on November 22, 2025 and be in effect until April 1, 2026.
Any disturbance or work performed within the Town’s Right-of-Way (ROW) always requires a ROW or Driveway Permit or both. What is considered the right-of-way? The right-of-way is the strip of land controlled or owned by the Town within which a public road lies. However, this can vary greatly from street to street. Roads, sidewalks, utilities, public shade trees, and grass strips all can lie within the right of way.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
