The Town of Concord is pleased to announce that Jennifer Barrett will join the community as its new Chief Finance Officer, starting Monday, November 3, 2025.
Ms. Barrett brings a depth of municipal finance experience to this critical role. Her experience includes four years as the Finance Director in Millbury and eight years as the Town Accountant in Boxborough.
Her credentials include an MBA in Accounting, along with certifications as an MMAAA Governmental Accountant and a Mass Certified Public Procurement Officer.
As a leader, Jennifer is organized and focused on providing clear, easy-to-understand financial information. She is eager to begin working with the entire town staff and shared the following message:
"I look forward to joining the Concord team and continuing to build a strong Finance Department through new training and teamwork. I’m also eager to meet new people in the community and help shape the future while honoring Concord’s rich history."
