Traffic/Construction Advisory – Fog Sealing of Streets – September 11, 2025

CPW’s contractor, Sealcoating Inc., is scheduled to perform fog sealing on the following streets starting Friday, September 12, 2025, and continuing through Wednesday, September 17, 2025:

Cambridge Turnpike, Park Lane, Garrison Road, Whit’s End Road, Walden Street (Hubbard Street to Heywood Street), Southfield Road, Southfield Circle, Garden Road, Dana Road, River Dale Road, River Dale Circle, and Pilgram Road.

Fog sealing is a treatment that slows the deterioration of pavement that is still in good condition. The material to be applied is organic based, clear, and penetrates the pavement surface to give it protection.  

The fog sealing will be applied one lane at a time to allow traffic to be maintained in the other lane. The product takes approximately 2 hours to fully dry, but this can vary depending on weather conditions.  

On-street parking will be prohibited during these operations.

Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained, however, please expect delays near construction crews performing the work.
