Building Commissioner Appointed 

The Town of Concord is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Pickering as the new Building Commissioner. Kevin has served as the interim Building Inspector since July 2025, following the departure of Paul Creedon.

Kevin brings a wealth of experience to this role. He has been a Local Building Inspector for the Town of Concord since 2022 and previously served as the Local Building Inspector for the Town of Belmont for over seven years. As a certified Massachusetts Building Commissioner, Kevin is well-equipped to lead the Building and Inspections Department.

The Building and Inspections Division is responsible for enforcing building codes, zoning bylaws, and other local, state, and federal regulations. Kevin’s expertise will ensure that all public and private buildings in Concord are constructed or modified safely and in full compliance with all relevant laws.
