Dear Concord Water Customers,
Concord is currently in a Level 1, Lawn Watering restriction, which limits lawn watering to 1-day per week, on your municipal trash pickup day. That means there should be no irrigation on Saturdays, Sundays or Mondays around Town.
On Monday morning we saw almost half a million gallons leave our water storage tanks between the hours of 4-6am! This is 2.5x the amount that is used typically during this time when irrigation is not running.
In a quick survey, Town staff saw 59 people watering their lawns on Monday morning! Each property will receive a written warning letter, encouraging customers to revise their irrigation controller settings.
Please help us get through this next week of warm weather by limiting outdoor water use, especially lawn watering. Your attention to this will help Concord remain in a Level -1 Lawn Watering Restriction and not have to elevate to a Level 2 Lawn Watering Ban.
