Please be advised that the milling and paving of Barretts Mill Road between College Road and the Route 2 Rotary will commence on Monday, June 30, 2025. This schedule is weather dependent. A detour will be implemented around the work zone. Access to all residence/properties will be maintained throughout construction. Please follow the detour signs posted through and around the work zone as alternative traffic patterns may also be implemented. This work is being performed to remove the asphalt rubber chip seal that was installed under a pilot program in 2022. The heavy traffic loading and stop condition that this section of Barretts Mill Road experiences has caused delamination of the asphalt rubber chip seal.

Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained, however, please expect minor delays near construction crews performing the work.  On-street parking will be prohibited during the reconstruction work.
