Please be advised that the installation of the planned brick-pattern crosswalk surface treatment at the intersection of Main St and Walden St will commence on Tuesday April 1st, 2025. It is anticipated that the work will take 3 - 4 working days to complete. Depending on the weather, the working days may be extended over the next 2 weeks. This is a tentative schedule and is heavily weather dependent. The surface treatment installation consists of installing two layers of a colored polymer cement between the existing white crosswalk lines at the intersection of Main St and Walden St. Alternating one-way traffic will be maintained through Main St. Access to Walden St between Hubbard St and Main St will be limited to local and business traffic only with access being maintained inbound, from Hubbard St only. Access to all properties and businesses will be maintained throughout construction, however, please expect minor delays when traveling through the area. If traveling through the area, proceed with caution. Some on-street parking spaces in the vicinity of the work zone will be impacted during construction.
