FRIDAY, March 14 7:45-9am: Next Business Session. Key members of the Concord250 Public Safety and Concord 250 sub-committees will share essential details about the April 19th celebration. Thank you to Minuteman Media Network for recording these sessions. FRIDAY, March 14 4-5PM:Eyewitness to Revolution with American Ancestors
This virtual talk will explore stories told by objects in the Concord Museum’s collection, shedding light on the lead-up to April 19, 1775, and the Revolutionary War itself. David Wood, Curator of the Concord Museum since 1985, will share his expertise, having developed over 40 exhibitions and authored key publications, including Eyewitness to Revolution.
SATURDAY, Concord250 Event: “A Fight for Freedom: Honoring Patriots of Color”. This is a free, two-hour live event dedicated to uncovering and honoring the often-overlooked contributions of Black and Indigenous patriots both during the American Revolution and the long struggle for continued expansion of freedom and liberty over the past 250 years. This event will take place at the Umbrella Arts Center, open to all. Don’t miss it!
"Where We Belong” at the Umbrella, now - March 23
Indigenous Theater-Maker’s Journey Grapples with Geographic Borders and Cultural Legacies in a Universal Search for Belonging. This brand new staging in Concord, MA during the Semiquincentennial of the beginning of the American Revolution raises timely questions of whose histories are told, how, by whom, and in what language. Show runs February 28- March 23, 2025
Tri-Corner Trivia - Join us as we kick-off the 250th anniversary celebrations with a special night of trivia! Hosted by @tom_rutledge_presents and supported by the @Concordcarlislefoundation and @Concordma250th. The event is open to all! Get your friends, neighbors, or co-workers together, make an unstoppable team (up to 6), choose your allegiance (Concord/Carlisle, Lexington, or England), and play six fabulous rounds of original, brain-teasing trivia …all while supporting your community!

As April 19 gets closer, we're excited to announce Concord Gets Ready - an initiative to decorate the town! Submit a photo of your decorated porch, door, or mailbox & be entered in a raffle to win a pack of gorgeous goodies donated by local merchants. We'll be posting ideas, hosting workshops, and making DIY kits available over the next several weeks, so keep your eyes here & follow @ConcordGetsReady for more details.
Calling all artists, of all ages: Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with art that expresses revolutionary spirit and reveals the unexpected - including old photos of Concord. ArtScape announces The Revolutionary Show.
Call for Adult Concord250 Ambassadors! Join as a volunteer ambassador for Concord250 on Saturday, April 19, 2025, to help welcome and assist visitors throughout the day. Volunteers will work in small teams during 3-4 hour shifts at various locations around town. Ambassadors will provide information about events, offer a friendly presence, and connect visitors with additional resources as needed. To sign up, email: 250celebration@concordma.gov, and your request will be forwarded to the volunteer coordinator.
