Traffic/Construction Advisory

National Grid’s paving contractor, Riley Brothers, Inc. will be conducting milling and paving operations at the intersection of Main Street and Walden Steet on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. This will be the final restoration of the gas leak repairs that were performed by National Grid over the past few months.

Alternating traffic is planned to be maintained on Main Street and Walden Street, but if safety concerns arise a detour of one-way traffic may be set up by CPD.  

On-street parking will be prohibited during the reconstruction work. The paving contractor will be posting “No Parking” signs indicating the “no parking” restriction.

Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained, however, please expect delays near construction crews performing the work.
