[ARCHIVED] Traffic/Construction Advisory-Beginning January 16, 2025

K. B. Aruda Construction, Inc. will be working on sidewalks, shoulders and parking lanes to remove the existing meter posts in town at the following locations:

• Main Street- from Sudbury Rd to Lexington Rd.

• Walden Street - from Main St to 54 Walden St. 

• Thoreau Street - from Main St to Sudbury Rd.

• Commonwealth Avenue - from Concord Teacakes (59 Commonwealth Ave) to West Village

Tavern (13 Commonwealth Ave). 

• Church Street - from Commonwealth Ave to 7 Church St.

• Hubbard Street - from Walden St to 280 feet southwest. 

The work is scheduled to start January 16, 2025, with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Mondays through Fridays. The work is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks to complete depending on weather conditions.

On-street parking at certain locations will be prohibited during the excavation work. “No Parking” signs will be posted at affected areas to allow the work to occur. 

Construction equipment will be present and operational. Residents and commuters are advised to anticipate delays around work zone areas. Pedestrian access to sidewalks will be limited at times during the construction operations. Access to all properties will be maintained.
