The Compost Site at 755 Walden Street will be open for Christmas Tree, Holiday Light, and Styrofoam Recycling during the following dates and times:
Friday, 1/3/25 from 9am-12pm
Saturday, 1/4/25 from 9am-3pm
Friday, 1/10/25 from 9am-12pm
Saturday, 1/11/25 from 9am-3pm
Please Note: Wreaths and garlands cannot be recycled because of the wire used to shape them. The Concord Free Public Library is hosting a wreath composting event on February 1st. For more information on this, please visit: www.cfpl.info/wreathcompost .
Styrofoam recycling bag(s) for Styrofoam recycling must be purchased in advance online or at 133 Keyes Road by check for $10 each. To purchase Styrofoam bag(s) online please visit www.concordma.gov and click on “Online Payments” or call 978-318-3240 for more information. Styrofoam must be white, clean, dry, and free of all tape and labels. CPW cannot accept packing peanuts, disposable plates/cups, meat trays, egg cartons or carryout containers for Styrofoam recycling.
