CPW’s contractor, Sealcoating Inc. is scheduled to perform fog sealing of the following streets in the week of August 26, 2024:

Dee Road, Alcott Road, Independence Road, Laurel Street, Sudbury Road (2,000 ft south of Rt 2 to Seven Star Ln), Shadyside Avenue, Baker Avenue, Baker Avenue Ext, and Old Marlborough Road (Harrington Ave to ORNAC).

Fog sealing is a treatment that slows the deterioration of pavement that is still in a good condition. The material to be applied is organic based, clear and penetrates the pavement surface to give it protection.  

The fog sealing will be applied one lane at a time to allow traffic to be managed in the other lane. The product dries in about thirty minutes.  

On Street parking will be prohibited during the operations.

Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained, however, please expect delays near construction crews performing the work.
