Please be advised that roadway resurfacing operations and drainage work on Walden Street from the intersection of Heywood Street to Concord Turnpike (Route 2) will commence on Wednesday July 10th. This work entails the mechanical milling of the top layer of existing pavement, drainage improvements, and then re-paving. During working hours, there will be one-way traffic allowed North bound only. South bound traffic will be detoured through Heywood Street onto Lexington Road and finally to Cambridge Turnpike. This work is scheduled to take several days to complete. Please seek an alternate route if possible.

Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout the construction process, however, please expect minor delays near construction crews performing the work.
