[ARCHIVED] Annual Town Meeting - April 29-May 1, 2024

April 29, 2024 - May 1, 2024 at 7 PM at CCHS

Join your friends and neighbors in the annual legislative process known as "Town Meeting."  Over the course of three evenings (or until completed), Town Meeting will take up the town and school operating and capital budgets, the MBTA zoning amendment (Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 7:15 PM), citizen petitions on cell towers, and town meeting process, and more. All Concord registered voters are encouraged to listen, engage, and vote on these important issues.

Accessibility

Town Meeting is participatory government. As such, we want to make Town Meeting accessible to you.

Child Care

On-site childcare will be provided by Concord Recreation. Childcare is available for children 3 years to 11 years. Registration in advance and payment is required, with the cost being $10.00 per child or $20.00 maximum per family. Registration information can be viewed at the link here.

Do you need a head set for better listening?

Hearing assistive devices will be available at Town Meeting for those who need them. Find the devices by the registration desks at Town Meeting.

Do you need a ride?

The Council on Aging will provide seniors pick-up and drop-off services for Town Meeting. Call ahead and book a ride at 978-318-3020.

Can't be there in person, but want to follow along?

Town MeetMinuteman Media Network Annual Town Meeting coverageing is broadcast live by Minuteman Media Network (MMN) on the Government Channel 9 and the Minuteman Media Network YouTube channel, or streamed online by visiting minuteman.media.

Special Accommodations

Anyone with a disability requiring special accommodations for Town Meeting should contact the Town's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator and Assistant Town Manager, Jessica Porter, at 978-318-3028 or via email. Special accommodations should be made one (1) week in advance of the opening date of Town Meeting, though the earlier that requests are made, the more likely that time will permit for special accommodations, if possible, to be met.
