Please be advised that roadway and parking pavement markings on Commonwealth Avenue will be applied on Friday, December 1, 2023. Commonwealth Avenue will remain open to two-way traffic, but there will be some sections of alternating traffic while crosswalk paint dries.  There will be parking closures in the morning so that parking stalls can be painted. Alternative parking will be in the Municipal portion of the MBTA Parking Lot. For more details on the project see the dedicated project webpage:

Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout the construction process, however, please expect minor delays near construction crews performing the work.
