On October 29th at 8:00 pm in the Town House, there will be a signing ceremony extending Concord’s 25-year Sister-City relationship with Nanae in Japan. Concord will be joined via a Zoom link with citizens and government officials in Nanae. At the ceremony, remarks will be made by the Deputy Consul General of Japan in Boston, the Mayor of Nanae, and the Chair of Concord’s Select Board. A joined toast of ‘Kanpai’ and ‘Cheers’ will be made following the signing of the agreement. All are welcome to join the signing celebration at the Town House or on Zoom.
