Construction Advisory – Parking lot reconstruction at intersection of Stow Street & Sudbury Road
Please be advised that the reconstruction of the parking lot at the intersection of Stow and Sudbury, used for the Main Branch of the Concord Free Public Library, will commence today Monday, August 22, 2022. The parking lot will be closed, and parking will not be available from the 22nd to the 24th. However, time limits for on-street parking on adjacent streets will not be enforced by Concord Police.
The parking lot reconstruction entails reclaiming the existing pavement, grading, paving with hot mix asphalt, installing various drainage improvements, and installing ADA compliant curb ramps.
Access to the Umbrella Center for Arts on the east side of the lot will be maintained, but please expect minor delays near construction crews performing the work.
