[ARCHIVED] Fire Damage at Station 2 Will See No Disruption in Service to Community

Last night, just before 1:00 a.m., fire broke out at the West Concord Fire Station at 1201 Main Street. Three firefighters were inside, but all were able to exit the building safely. Considerable damage was sustained during the fire, including loss of equipment, building damages, and substantial damage to one fire engine, an ambulance, and two apparatus trucks. The Fire Department would like to stress that there will be absolutely no disruption in service to the community as efforts are made to restore Station 2 over the next several weeks.
