You do not need to be an artist or a naturalist to begin, Susan will provide joyful, gentle guidance to get you going. Starter supplies provided. Additional materials and methods will be discussed. Susan offers drawing techniques, inspiration and prompts to move you forward in your journaling. You will learn to record your observations with words, pictures and numbers. Please bring two natural objects (twig, leave, shell, etc.) to your first class. These six, two-hour sessions cost $120 payable to the Town of Concord, due at registration. COA volunteers Tina and Lisa will be available to repair garments in need of light mending. Each item brought for repair must be clean and fresh. If the seamstress is unable to make your repair immediately, she will take it and return it to the COA in about a week's time. Requests may be refused if the job is too complicated. This service is offered free of charge on a first come first serve basis, limited to three items per visit, and is free of charge. There is no need to sign up.

Knowledge and support are key to your quality of life with any medical condition. Please join Geriatric Health Nurse Valerie Boggia for a four-week series on wellness in aging. We encourage participation in all four sessions. Education will be provided on various medical topics and have room to explore and discuss the social and emotional impacts of health issues as we age. GROW A NATURE JOURNAL!2022-05-30T13:30:00Join artist and educator Susan Borsuk Us for a 6-session nature journaling exploratory practice. We will pracice observation, grow curiosity, and discover new ways to see through focused attention to the natural world. All levels of experience are welcome. You do not need to be an artist or a naturalist to begin, Susan will provide joyful, gentle guidance to get you going. Starter supplies provided. Additional materials and methods will be discussed. Susan offers drawing techniques, inspiration and prompts to move you forward in your journaling. You will learn to record your observations with words, pictures and numbers. Please bring two natural objects (twig, leave, shell, etc.) to your first class. These six, two-hour sessions cost $120 payable to the Town of Concord, due at registration.
