Valerie is the Geriatric health Nurse at the COA since 2018. She brings a passion for caring, communicating, supporting, and educating the seniors in our community. Her work experience as a nurse and educator have been in both an acute and community setting. Valerie worked for many years as a Nurse Manager at MGH, New England Rehabilitation Hospital, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Her community involvement has been with local VNAs, Assisted Living Facilities, and as a Director of a Memory Care Unit. She taught in the nursing program at Middlesex Community College for several years.

Valerie has lived in Wayland for many years with her husband and family. She is the very proud mother of three grown children and a grandson. She enjoys interacting with people, the feeling of a community setting that Concord offers, and providing a positive and advocacy approach towards one’s health care needs.
