The Concord Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is pleased to announce that applications are now available for the 2020-2021 Community Preservation Act funding cycle. Recommendations for funding will be made by the CPC at the 2021 Annual Town Meeting. Applications are available on the Town’s website at https://concordma.gov/1054/2020-Funding-Application-Materials. A timeline for the Application process and further information on additional materials to submit for review are also available on the website. This year’s deadline for applications is Friday, October 9, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
As part of the funding application review process, the CPC will hold two public informational sessions. The first informational session will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 beginning at 7:00 pm. The second informational session will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, beginning at 7:00 p.m. These meetings may be held virtually. Please check the CPC’s webpage for meeting location updates or contact Planning staff (email@example.com) for more information. The Committee strongly recommends that any individuals or groups interested in submitting an application attend one of the informational sessions on August 18th or September 15th.
The CPA informational session is an important opportunity for prospective applicants to gather helpful information on the program and application process, learn about the CPC’s procedures and expectations regarding applications, and gain feedback from the CPC on their potential project. The CPC looks forward to working with Town committees, Town officials, and non-profit groups who wish to help preserve Concord with projects in the areas of community housing, historic preservation, open space or recreation.
