Katharine Esty Presents: "The Good News About Aging" on Zoom
Thursday, October 7, 2021
Aging is not the same as it was in your grandparents' day! In her talk, Katharine Esty, PhD, author of the award-winning book "Eighty-somethings - A Practical Guide to Letting Go, Aging Well, and Finding Unexpected Happiness" will tell us about how the lives of older people are different today from the past; and she will present some exciting new scientific findings about the brain. Ms. Esty is a social psychologist, a practicing psychotherapist, and an activist for aging well. She has lived in Concord since 1972. Please join her for this Zoom presentation. The Zoom presentation will also be projected on the big screen here at the COA if you prefer to watch with others or if you don't have a Zoom set up at home.
This talk has been rescheduled from September and is listed as a live presentation in the newsletter - however it will be presented remotely via Zoom. Please call the COA beginning Friday, October 1st to let us know you plan to attend or to request the Zoom link. 978 318 302
