"The Salem Witch Trials in a Nutshell" is a basic introduction to the real (not metaphorical) witch hunts, the basic facts of what really happened. Marilynne K. Roach is a researcher, freelance writer, illustrator, and presenter of talks on historical subjects. She has written two books about the Salem witch trials - "Six Women of Salem" and "The Salem Witch Trials" that are considered to be the most complete accountings of the Salem witch trials ever written. She is a leading scholar in this field of study and delivers the stories with compelling details and clarity. This will be a hybrid presentation - Marilynne will presenting on Zoom and the Zoom meeting will be projected on the large screen at the COA. You can watch as a group at the COA or join in from home. This presentation is sponsored by Harvey's Treasure Chest Gift Shop and is free of charge. Please call the COA beginning Friday, October 1st to register for the event. 978 318 3020.
