SwapOff Important Instructions

Please note:  There is no preregistration necessary to participate in SwapOff.  You must pre-register and pre-pay for items that are being brought to Drop-Off.  If you have any questions, please call our office at (978) 318-3240.

SWAP-OFF IS RETURNING!

SWAP-OFF IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR!!  

DROP YOUR ITEMS ON FRIDAY 12-3 AND SATURDAY 9:30-11:30.  

NO SHOPPING UNTIL NOON ON SATURDAY

REUSIT and Concord Public Works are excited to announce that the Swap-Off portion of Drop-Off/Swap-Off is returning on October 15th.   There have been some changes to the program during the three-year hiatus and we are looking forward to having a more efficient and streamlined event.  Please look at the guidelines closely-volunteers will be enforcing these rules so we can have a successful swap!

ITEM DROP OFF HOURS FOR SWAP EVENT

FRIDAY – 12:00 TO 3:00

SATURDAY – 9:30 TO 11:30

PLEASE NOTE:  This event is weather permitting.  If it rains on Friday, there will be no drop off time.  If it rains on Saturday, there will be NO Swap.

BROWSING CLOSED UNTIL SATURDAY 12 NOON

NOTE:  Residents will NOT be allowed to browse when they drop their items off.  All browsing begins at 12:00 on Saturday.

Acceptable Items

Dishes (place settings for 2, serving pieces) – No chips or cracks

Glasses (no single glasses)

Flatware & Kitchen Utensils (boxed & labeled – sharp knives should be separate)

Small Household appliances – must be in good condition & working order

Small Household items – If one person can’t easily carry it don’t bring it -must be able to carry in/carry out

Artwork (framed and unframed)

Mirrors – no chips or cracks

Toys –make sure all pieces are present if applicable and boxed.  If no box, put into a Ziploc baggie

Games & Puzzles – make sure all pieces are present and boxed.  Put into a Ziploc baggie if you do not have the box

Sports Equipment – No more than 10 years old and must be in good condition (acceptable items –      baseball & softball gloves, bats, golf clubs, basketballs, soccer balls, ice skates, tennis racquets, cleats and downhill and cross country skis with poles) We will not accept Hockey or Lacrosse sticks.

Camping Equipment – can’t be more than 5 years old and no sleeping bags

Garden Tools & Work Tools

Electronics –  working laser printers (UNDER 10 YRS OLD), space heaters, vacuum cleaners, stereo speakers and digital flat screen televisions

Unacceptable Items 

(Can be taken to the Drop off)

Computers - Hard-Drives Must Be       Removed.
