The Concord Housing Development Corporation (“CHDC”) is pleased that it is soliciting responses to this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) from experienced, qualified development groups interested in building three units of affordable housing on a 1-acre parcel of land adjacent to 406 Old Marlboro Road in Concord, Massachusetts and bordered by Old Marlboro Road and the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. Responses are due by Thursday February 29, 2024 at 2pm. Friday February 16, 2024 at 2pm.
The CHDC is currently petitioning the Concord Zoning Board of Appeals for a Planned Residential Development (“PRD”). To review these plans, and learn more about the project, please visit the PRD permit materials posted on the town website (https://concordma.gov/1439/ZBA-Current-Meeting-Documents).
An optional site visit was held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 12 noon. A pre-proposal meeting was held immediately following where prospective developers/builders had the opportunity to ask questions of one or more CHDC Board members.
