Gerow Recreation Area

The property at 369 Commonwealth Ave, also known as the Gerow Recreation Area, was purchased in July of 2018 and is comprised of 7.03 acres of cleared and wooded land abutting Warners Pond in West Concord. The Bruce Freeman Rail Trail run along the property and will provide a relaxing area to recreate when completed and open to the public.

Invasive Buckthorn Pull

Thank you to all who volunteered on October 2nd to help us pull the invasive plant glossy buckthorn. With help of our volunteers and many Town of Concord staff from Recreation, Facilities, and the Town Manager's Office, the property is largely free of the invasive.
