The Concord Water Division has been informed that water treatment vendors are attempting to capitalize on recent water quality concerns which have impacted much of the MWRA system. Please be advised that Concord's water supply is not connected to MWRA and continues to meet and surpass state and federal drinking water quality standards. Furthermore, both the Concord Water Division and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection do not recommend filtering or treating municipal tap water.
