The COA can provide transportation on a first come, first served basis to Concord seniors around town for doctor's appointments, trips to the bank, haircuts, visits to a friend, events at the COA and so on. The COA van runs Monday through Friday, except for holidays. The first pickup of the day is 8:40 AM and the final pickup to return home is at 3:45 PM. The donation for a van ride, within the town limits, is $2 round trip. We recommend that you make appointments as early as possible (they can be booked weeks ahead). Individuals riding the COA van must be
able to get on and off the van independently or must bring an escort to assist them. Alert the office if you will have an escort.
We are happy to provide a variety of shopping opportunities each month, but it is important that you call for a reservation in advance. You may sign up at any time. To save room, each shopper is limited to five (5) shopping bags. The van driver will help carry your bags if you are unable to do so.
