2013 Concord Ag Day
Saturday, September 7, 10AM - 2 PM
on the Milldam, Concord Center
The Ag Committee will host Concord's annual Ag Day farmers market this Septemer at the height of the season's bounty. Plan to meet your local farmers and purchase a wide range of agricultural products -- from fresh local vegetables and fruit to locally produced eggs and meat.
Background:
This Committee consists of five residents of the Town appointed by the Board of Selectmen each for staggered five-year terms. The membership shall be as follows:
Three members representing farmer interest who are engaged in farming; Two citizens at-large interested in promoting farming
The purpose of the Committee is to provide a forum for the discussion of interest and concern to farmers in Concord and to advise the Board of Selectmen concerning how the town can help to support farming in Concord.
