Volunteering For All Ages

We'd love to have you join us! Volunteers and teams of volunteers can be assigned "one time" projects or serve on a more long term basis. Whether your interests are gardening or technology, whether your availability is occasional or regular, there is a spot for you in the Council on Aging's (COA) Volunteer Program! We enjoy working with seniors, youth, and everything in between. Please call to discuss your interests 978-318-3020.

Some of the types of volunteer opportunities we have are:
  • Computer Tutors
  • Handyman Helpers and On-Call handymen
  • Health Clinic RN's
  • Hostess at the Front Desk
  • Income Tax Assistance
  • Newsletter Mailing Team
  • Seasonal Clean-Up Teams

Call us at 978-318-3020 with any skill you might want to share with Concord seniors.

Helping the Council Run

The Volunteer Program is the backbone of the Council on Aging. With over 100 generous and motivated volunteers, the COA runs an art gallery, provides seasonal yard work for seniors in need, hostess for the front desk, computer tutors and cell phone assistance.

Together we can:
  • Exercise your body
  • Exercise your mind
  • Help you help another
  • Help you to feel fulfilled
  • Keep you motivated
  • Provide much needed services to the Seniors of Concord
  • Satisfy CCHS Community Service Requirements
